Use cases · Agency owners and account managers
Pass AI agent cost through to your clients.
Your agents work on several clients' projects at once, and each provider sends one bill for all of them. Token Controller splits that bill by client, project and ticket, so each client's share can go on their invoice.
The questions your clients and your CFO ask.
- How much of this month's AI bill belongs to each client?
- Can you show a client what their money paid for?
- Which part of the bill should no client pay?
From one bill to one line per client.
Every agent reports what it spent and on which ticket. At the end of the month it adds up to the bills.
- 1
Tag each project with its client
A client is a tag on a project, such as client: acme. Its token entries inherit it, so each client adds up to one total.
- 2
Let the agents record
Every token entry lands on a ticket with a summary of the work. Rules place it, for example by the ticket key in a branch name.
- 3
Close the month
The cost sheet adds up to your providers' bills. Take each client's line into your own invoicing tool.
What your clients can check.
Every figure opens to the work
Each number on the cost sheet opens down to the token entries behind it, with the agent's summary of each session.
Cost no client pays stays apart
Cost with no project, such as internal tooling or experiments, is organization overhead, on its own line. It still has a person, so nothing is hidden.
Your invoice, your markup
Token Controller ends at the cost sheet. It sends no invoices and adds no markup. If a client has its own AI account, run one organization per client.
